"Caracas is a Sensation" is a deeply personal art collection born from a spontaneous trip that reconnected me—physically and emotionally—with the city where I was born and lived for 27 years.
After seven years away, I returned to Caracas and was confronted with the contrast between two very different times: the city of my memories and the one that exists today. This body of work captures that duality—how places continue to live within us even as they change.
Through this collection, I explore memory, displacement, and belonging. Caracas is not just a place—it's a sensation that lives in the body, shaped by time, distance, and nostalgia.
